One of the most idiotic assignments I've had to do for awhile, in my opinion.. Create a myspace for Holden Caulfield, main character of Catcher in the Rye. I'm in charge of the picture. Thus, here it is. He's always wearing a red hunting hat, which makes him look rather.. idiotic. What can you do though?

Time: 45-60mins

i like this, alot.. i love catcher in the rye, and holden..
has his mood really well, and.. that hunting cap is so vivid.. its really nice.

.. i think that is a rather stupid assignment. i agree with you.

thanks :) It was a pretty good book.. the ending though, was really my favorite part, what with the carousel and everything.

..and thanks. I don't think Holden would've made a myspace in the first place. It is a breeding ground for "phonies".

yea.. it really was beautiful. the whole book was, i need to go back and read it again.

and ive got to agree with you on that. however, some part of me also says that Holden would get one, just to get one and feel part of something, updating every once in a while (making sure that everyone knew that he really didnt want a myspace, but figures that since everyone else has one...)
and would ramble about his day and so on..

just because Holden seems the type to do things, even if he doesnt want to..
to get a few friends maybe.. to have something to do?
i dunno.
